Depalletizing / Palletizing of Carpet Squares
Problem:
Remove individual carpet squares from pallets, flip, coat and
re-palletize for packaging and shipping.
Solution: Design, build and install a gantry pick
and place robot to accurately unstack and feed the carpet squares to
the coating equipment and then receive the coated tile and
accurately re-stack for final packaging and shipment.
Result: System throughput is double the speed of
manual production method with a personnel reduction from five to
two.
Bag Palletizing
Problem:
Manual palletizing was limiting production thoughput and causing
major ergonomic problems.
Solution: Provide articulating arm robot with finger
end effector for bag pick up.
Result: Tripled palletizing throughput and reduced
palletizing to a single shift and eliminated ergonomic problems.
High Speed Unit Palletizer
Problem: Provide for palletizing unit load packages
at double the current production rate.
Solution: Provide top entry high speed case
palletizer with accumulating conveyor system and controls to handle
